Reunion Mezcal Company

Our objective is to provide consumers with a quality liquor product created through artisinal methods, and made with pure, basic ingredients -- 100% estate-grown agave. With the "Don Amado" brand label, we aim to promote southern Mexico's underdeveloped mezcal industry by creating an exemplary mezcal brand in this emerging liquor category.

Our company is the creation of a unique effort by Oaxaca's finest mezcal producer, German Bonifacio Arellanes Robles, and Californian Jake Lustig, to create brand recognition for a libation which has been produced continuously on the same distillery land since the year 1700.

Our product is Don Amado Mezcal, distilled and bottled in limited quantities from 100% matured Espadín and Tovalá agave plants which we grow on land surrounding the distillery. The entire production process --from the roasting of 8-10 year old agave hearts in traditional brick-lined kilns to the distillation of their fermented juices in ceramic and bamboo stills, ensures superior smoothness and drinkability.
